TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two teenagers were seriously hurt in a two-car crash.

It happened May 1 at around 7:06 p.m. at Gilford and Ringle Roads in Tuscola County’s Fairgrove Township.

Investigators say that a Buick LeSabre on Ringle Road failed to stop for the stop sign, and hit a vehicle going eastbound on Gilford Road.

The driver of the Buick, an 18-year-old man from Caro, was flown by Flight Care to a Saginaw hospital.

His passenger, a 17-year-old man from Caro, was also hospitalized.

Both had to be cut out of the vehicle with the Jaws of Life.

The other vehicle, driven by a 24-year-old woman from Bay City, had three children inside.

The children, ages 1, 3 and 4 had minor injuries, as did the driver. All were hospitalized.

The accident remains under investigation.
