FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

One person is in custody, police are looking for another in connection with home break-in.

Flint Police were called to the 2700 block of Thomas on April 24 after someone spotted a man forcing his way into a home while a woman waited in a car outside.

Sgt. Tefft and Sgt. Simpson recognized the vehicle description as one that matched suspects in a string of break-ins in the area.

They were able to chase the man down and arrest him. Items taken from the home were also found and returned.

Eric Shoemo, 22, has been charged with 2nd degree home invasion.

Investigators are now looking for Toni Bradshaw, 25, also wanted for 2nd degree home invasion.

Flint Police Sergeants Tefft and Simpson received a Certificate of Merit last week for their role in making the arrest.
