A Lucky For Life winner is about to lose out on $25,000 a year.

A winning ticket was sold for the May 7, 2015 drawing and it expires on Monday.

It was sold in Detroit at Motor City Liquor, located at 2313 Gratiot Avenue.

It matched all the five white balls drawn: 04-14-19-26-40.

If it isn’t claimed by 4:45 p.m. Monday it goes to the state School Aid Fund.

About 97 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers.

In the 2015 fiscal year, the Lottery’s contribution to Michigan’s public schools was $795.5 million. Since it began in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $19.6 billion to education in Michigan.
