Man accused of running over relative multiple times

OSCEOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man is dead after being repeatedly run over, allegedly by a family member.

It happened on May 6 in Osceola County’s Marion Township.

Michigan State Police were called to a home in Marion Township, that’s in Osceola County.

Witnesses told troopers that 48-year-old Thomas Alger of Marion had run over his 81-year-old relative multiple times with his car, killing him.

Witnesses also reported that Alger then tried to run over at least one of the witnesses.

Alger then took off on M-66. Investigators say she didn’t stop for the stop sign at M-115 and his a minivan with three people inside.

Alger died at the crash scene.

The three people in the minivan were hospitalized, their conditions are unclear.

The investigation continues.
