Police seek help identifying suspect of stolen lawnmowers

LAPEER COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who stole two lawnmowers.

The vehicles were stolen about 4:30 p.m. on May 8 from Dick Coulters Implement in North Branch. That's in Lapeer County.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect and the suspect's vehicle.

The suspect parked his truck behind the business and walked to the front of the business where he stole the two lawnmowers. They were started with keys the suspect brought with him, the Lapeer County Sheriff's Office said.

The suspect is described as a white male with an estimated age of 40. He is average height with a slim build. He was driving an early 2000 Ford F-250 quad cab. It was dark blue or gray in color.

The stolen lawnmowers included an organge Husqvarna riding lawn mower. It has 18 HP with a 42 inch cut. Its value is $1,499.95. The second lawn mower included an orange Husqvarna zero turn model. It has 34 HP with a 60 inch cut. Its value is $11,399.95.
