SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man wanted on a warrant allegedly threatens to shoot officers, but is talked into a peaceful arrest.

It happened May 12 at 12:05 p.m. in the 300 block of S. 31st Street in Buena Vista Township.

Officers were looking for Christopher Roberts, 45, for an active warrant on probation violations.

They found him sitting on a porch, and holding a pair of rusty scissors.

Officers report when they arrived Roberts started yelling “don’t come on my property” and said he was going to “shoot them all”.

He then allegedly jumped out of his chair, and began waving the scissors at them.

Buena Vista Police Department’s Sgt. Patterson then arrived with a non-lethal Bean Bag Shotgun.

He was able to talk Roberts into dropping the scissors and was eventually arrested without incident.
