SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (AP) -

A man searching the deserted shoreline of an Upper Peninsula lake has found the body of his 52-year-old brother who was reported missing nearly six months ago.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources says Saturday that after William Wenzel was reported missing Nov. 27 while fishing, Craig Wenzel had been looking on his off days from work around Lake George, east of Sault Ste. Marie in Chippewa County.

The DNR says Craig Wenzel, relatives and friends were at the lake Thursday afternoon when he saw something floating in the water. DNR personnel were called in and recovered William Wenzel's body.

William Wenzel of Merrill in Saginaw County had been fishing alone in a small boat on the lake and is believed to have fallen overboard.
