A 93-year-old man lost control of his vehicle, went airborne, and landed upside down.

It happened May 15 at around 2:09 p.m. at M-46 near Cat Lake Road in Fremont Township in Tuscola County.

Investigators say the Canadian man lost control while going eastbound on M-46. He hit a mailbox, went airborne and overturned into the ditch.

He was trapped in his vehicle and had to be rescued.

He was taken to St. Mary’s in Saginaw for treatment, but his condition is unclear.
