Police: Man arrested after firing a gun inside while drunk

CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man was arrested and charged with multiple counts after he allegedly fired a gun while he was intoxicated.

Donald Reid, 63, of Harrison, allegedly fired a gun inside a home with other occupants inside. That happened about 10 p.m. on May 13 at a home on Fir-Mac in Clare County's Frost Township.

He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of marijuana, weapons firearms - possession under the influence, and domestic violence.

His bond was set at $7,500.

Reid remains lodged in the Clare County Jail.
