FRANKENMUTH, MI (WNEM) -

The sun is shining bright this week, meaning it's time to take advantage of the warm weather.

An adventure park in Frankenmuth may have just what you need.

Every year more and more people have participated in the adventure park. Now it has new features to offer.

"We have been privileged enough to have such great attendance in the summer time. Unfortunately, it has lead in the past to some wait time to get into a harness. This year at the adventure park we have a reservation system where you can actually log on to the system and pick your time to climb. So when you show up you are right out into the trees," said Thomas Knuth, owner of the park.

The park also added some extra courses.

"We have a new aerial trail this year. For those of you that want the fun of the zip we have created the Frankenzip," Knuth said.

The Frankenzip added six new lines. That's 800 feet of extra zip lining to the course.

Jill Bardowski is a manager at the park. She said she can't wait to see how this next season goes with the new attraction.

"It's really exciting. We are just open for three days right now, but once summer hits it's five days a week. And we really get rolling. A lot of people come through and you get to see a lot of smiles and people having fun," Bardowski said.

Thomas Hilgras climbs and zips in the trees often. He said the adventure park pumps him up.

"I get a lot of adrenaline from it and it's just fun to just do it and experience all of the new things and learn something from it," Hilgris said.

Knuth said they are offering some great discounts this spring.

"Every Friday in May we are offering 50 percent off climbing reservations if you make them in advance on our website," Knuth said.
