DETROIT (WNEM) -

Tigers manager Brad Ausmus is turning a bit of a hissy fit into a charity fundraiser.

Ausmus was ordered to serve a one-game suspension after taking off his hoodie sweatshirt and covering home plate with it when he was frustrated by a call.

He also tossed his cap.

Following his ejection the clubhouse attendant collected the items from the field, and now they’re going up for auction.

Ausmus donated the items to the Detroit Tigers Foundation with the goal of raising money for youth baseball in Detroit.

Neither item has been washed since the May 16 game, and both have some Comerica dirt on them.

Bids for the item have surpassed $2,000.
