CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

One woman is dead after another driver failed to stop at a stop sign and slammed into her vehicle, said troopers.

It happened Wednesday at around 2:30 p.m. on S. Lake Station Avenue and W. Maple Grove Road in Clare County’s Garfield Township.

Michigan State Troopers say 53-year-old Carol Bradley of Copperas Cove, TX, was driving a truck when she was hit by a Crown Victoria that failed to stop.

That caused the truck to roll, killing Bradley, according to troopers. Two other people in that truck were also hurt. A 76-year-old woman from Durand and a 32-year-old woman, both are expected to survive.

The Crown Victoria was driven by a 34-year-old Weidman woman, who was also injured but is expected to survive. Her 36-year-old passenger wasn’t hurt.

Troopers say drugs may have been a factor in the crash, it remains under investigation.
