The Flint water crisis, it's not going to get better overnight. It's been a problem for awhile now, and while steps are being and have been taken to remedy things, every little bit helps as they say.
Saturday afternoon, some big time athletes and entertainers in vehicle city to play in the "Hoop 4 Water" game at the Dort Event Center.
Rapper and actor Snoop Dogg co-headlined the event along with former NBA great and flint native, Morris Peterson. The celebrity game raised money and awareness for the Flint water crisis, which is currently on day 757.
Peterson's former college coach, Tom Izzo was one of the many guests of honor. So, too, was Lions tight end Eric Ebron, Flint Mayor Doctor Karen Weaver, and of course, Little Miss Flint.
While most of the celebrities involved had ties to the state, Snoop Dogg does not, but he's made Flint a priority, and was given a key to the city after the game.
