O.A.R. to perform at Dow Diamond on July 17

MIDLAND, MI (WNEM) -

In celebration of their 10th season, the Great Lakes Loons are pleased to announce that O.A.R. will perform at Dow Diamond on Sunday, July 17, as part of the XX Tour: Evolution of a Revolution. Opening acts will be announced at a later date. The event marks the fifth concert held at the ballpark in Midland since opening in 2007.

O.A.R. is renowned for its intense, vibrant live shows and the communal feeling it shares with its fans. In celebration of their 20th anniversary, O.A.R. has announced the upcoming release of their new album XX out on August 5th via Vanguard Records. The two CD set includes a career-spanning collection of O.A.R.'s biggest hits and incredible live shows plus new studio material. Disc one features fan favorites such as "Heaven", "Peace", Shattered, "Two Hands Up" and more. Disc two spotlights select performances from their extensive live catalog. To coincide with the release of XX, O.A.R. will embark on the XX Tour: Evolution of a Revolution, a national summer headline run with over 30+ dates. "Now in our 10th season of Loons baseball, what better way to celebrate this milestone than with a signature event like this," Loons Vice President and General Manager Scott Litle said. "Dow Diamond is a perfect venue for concerts, and our organization is excited to host O.A.R. on their upcoming tour. The show will be a great way to draw visitors not only to downtown Midland, but the Great Lakes Bay Region as well." 

Tickets for the concert will start at $45 for general admission bowl seats. General admission floor tickets are $55 and VIP floor tickets are $100. VIP floor tickets include a private bar, restrooms and lounge area. All tickets are general admission and will be subject to a $5 surcharge.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 3 and can be purchased online at Loons.com, by phone at 989-837-BALL or in person at the Dow Diamond ticket office.

Gates open for the concert at 5 p.m. on July 17.
