Brace yourselves, parents. The kids are moving back home.

A new study from Pew Research Center shows for the first time in recent years, 36 percent of young adults ages 18-31 are now living with their parents.

That’s more than one-third of millennials.

Nearly 32 percent of young adults live with a spouse or partner and the rest live alone, with other relatives or in college dorms.

The shift in living arrangements reflects a long-running decline in those getting married before age 35, as well as the sluggish growth of the U.S. economy.
