SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

The Michigan Department of Transportation will close two to three lanes on southbound I-75 for road repairs.

The project starts June 6 and will continue through September.

The closure will impact the southbound lanes from Birch Run Creek to I-475.

MDOT is investing $2.2 millions to repair the concrete over the 13 mile stretch.

The crews will close two lanes during daytime hours and possibly three lanes during the overnight hours. The closures will occur in two mile increments.
