FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Flint Mayor Karen Weaver said the city may not get their water from the pipeline connecting to Lake Huron.

"Those decisions were made by others and we think some of those decisions were not the best for the people of Flint," Weaver said.

She said Flint may not join the Karegnondi Water Authority pipeline.

"We want to make sure we are looking at everything and doing what we can legally and you never know what's possible," Weaver said.

She said there is mounting pressure on her to make a decision.

The threat of increased costs for city water customers plus additional costs totaling millions in building a new test treatment line have the mayor concerned.

"A lot of us weren't at the table when that was made. We don't know the questions asked and that's what we are going to do," Weaver said.
