Festival celebrates arts, sciences and humanities

It’s a festival celebrating the arts, sciences and humanities.

The MATRIX:MIDLAND Festival opens Wednesday night.

Each year, the festival gives patrons the opportunity to experience a world of informative lectures and sophisticated performances right at our doorstep.

Prior Festival guests include music legend Bonnie Raitt, country music star Easton Corbin, comedians Brian Regan and Bill Engvall, Food Network personality Alton Brown, "Jungle" Jack Hanna, jazz sensation Esperanza Spalding, Tony winners Sutton Foster and Idina Menzel, and country superstar Blake Shelton.
