FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

AAA is bringing more than 38,000 bottles of water to Flint tomorrow.

The Auto Club is trucking in supplies, due to arrive Thursday at 11 a.m. for distribution at Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties Center for Hope at 517 East Fifth Avenue in Flint.

AAA Mid-Atlantic employees will unload 960 cases of water, helping supply residents who have been unable to use their taps ever since lead contamination was detected in the city's water supply 2 years ago.

In a prepared release, AAA executive Bernie Koch said, "The people of Flint have not been forgotten."

Koch added that between his company's contributions and those of workers thousands of dollars were raised and spent to pay for the water they are bringing to the Vehicle City.
