FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A new survey reveals how residents feel about the current situation.

A poll was released Wednesday.

Of the 400 Flint resident who were interviewed late last month, 87 percent said they’ve been directly impacted by the water crisis and need to use filters or bottled water.

Less than half said their home has even been tested for lead.

Most respondents said they don’t trust that filtered water is safe to drink, despite what the government said.

Of those surveyed, 21 percent want to leave Flint and most said the water crisis fueled that desire.
