Man who approached girl at bus stop spotted again

Posted: Updated:

Investigators say a man who approached a 13-year-old girl at a bus stop has been spotted again.

An officer responded to the area of McCollum and Dayton Streets in the Clio and Pasadena area around 7:00 p.m. on June 9 for reports of a "stranger danger incident."

Police said the suspect told an adult who was walking along the road that he was looking for a girl. He then drove away westbound on Dayton Avenue and was not seen again.

On June 8, a 13-year-old girl reported the same man approached her while she was in the front yard of her home waiting for the school bus. The male driver engaged her in conversation and asked if she wanted to get in the car.

Residents in the area are not familiar with the suspect or the vehicle.

The man was again described as a white male, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, average to stocky build, medium length brown hair with a "scruffy" beard. The vehicle is now described as a white four-door sedan, believed to be a Chrysler, with tinted rear windows and black rims.
