ALPENA, MI (AP) -

Disabled Army Staff Sgt. Ben Eberle and his family have moved in to their new home on Devil's Lake near Alpena.

The specially designed, accessible home cost $500,000 and features open floor plans and appliances designed for Eberle's use .

It was paid for by donations  and sponsored by the Siller "Tunnel To Towers" Foundation.

Eberle, from Mio, was hit by an Improvised Explosive blast while serving in Afghanistan in 2011.

He lost an arm and both legs.
