A botched siding job had one resident wondering what to do next as she was running out of time to get it all replaced.

A Mid-Michigan woman said she got a raw deal when it came to a vinyl siding job on her house.

"They just didn't do a good job for me," said Rosie Brackett, Saginaw resident.

Brackett said the vinyl siding job was subpar and she wanted it fixed. The 64-year-old said she bought it through Lowe's Home Improvement store and the subcontractor who put the siding on needed to repair the imperfections.

"Most of the vinyl siding is loose. The molding that they put on there, some of it is broke, some of it is cracked and some of it is coming loose. The trimming around the windows is coming loose and it's just really one mess," Brackett said.

Brackett said someone actually did come out and look at the situation in May, but no one has been back since. That was until the Rescue Squad stepped in.

She bought the siding nearly a year ago and she was coming up to the deadline of the one-year guarantee on the work and materials.

"I have been to the store about three times to talk with someone, even talked to the store manager, but no one has come out and really done the work for me," Brackett said.

TV5 called the subcontractor to ask the tough questions. He said he will set up a time with Brackett to come by within the next few days and make everything right.

Brackett said the contractor came out the next day after the Rescue Squad stepped in.

"I love you and you really get things done. When we call, you all investigate first and then you come out and then you do the job," Brackett said.
