BAY CITY, MI (WNEM) -

A local city starts getting spruced up Monday.

Thirty-nine street trees in downtown Bay City are expected to be replaced over the next two weeks.

Trees will be replaced on North Water Street, Saginaw Street and Washington Avenue.

Street parking may be limited for a short period of time while they work.

The new trees are paid for by the Downtown Development Authority.
