MUSKEGON, MI (AP) -

More than 100 people gathered in Muskegon to remember a 17-year-old who was killed in a shooting that left two other teenagers injured.

The Muskegon Chronicle reports Naethon Sims died following the shooting shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday. On Sunday, people gathered at the vigil to pay tribute to Sims and the other teens. Many brought balloons and candles.

Muskegon Police Chief Jeffrey Lewis says an argument led to a gunman pulling the weapon and firing. When police arrived, they found three teenagers on the ground in a yard

Two 18-year-olds were recovering at the hospital. No arrests have been made.

Sims' mother, Kerri Sims, identified the injured teens as his brother and friend. She tells WOOD-TV such violence must stop and her son "didn't bother anybody."
