FRANKENMUTH, MI (WNEM) -

A woman was working at a store when two suspects allegedly stole her wallet.

It happened at a store on the 300 block of N. Main Street in Frankenmuth on June 13.

A vehicle parked in front of the store and a woman entered the store asking for assistance in purchasing an item. Shortly after that a second female entered the store and then they both left together without purchasing anything, the victim told police.

A few hours later the victim's husband called her and said he was receiving phone calls from their financial institution regarding credit card purchases, police said.

The victim checked her purse and noticed her wallet was missing. Her purse was in the store's office.

Both suspects were described as African American females, about 5'5 and medium build. They were in a cream colored passenger car, police said.
