DETROIT (AP) -

Authorities have arrested a mother and son from Detroit in connection with two bank robberies in Ann Arbor.

The Ann Arbor News reports that 41-year-old LaTanya Denise Ward and 20-year-old Damond Donteze Ward were arrested Tuesday in Detroit. The mother and son appeared in court Wednesday to face felony bank robbery charges.

Damond Ward is accused of stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from the Lake Trust Credit Union on June 6, while LaTanya Ward is accused of doing the same at the Fifth Third Bank on June 13. It wasn't immediately clear if the mother and son have an attorney.

Court records show both of them are being held on $10,000 bonds.

They're due back in court on June 30.
