255,000 bottle warmers recalled for potential fire hazard

Roughly 255,000 bottle and food warmers have been recalled due to a potential fire hazard.

Thousands of Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature electronic bottle and food warmers are being recalled after six reports of the warmer overheating, melting, smoking and even starting on fire, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

In one case, the bottle warmed caused $16,000 in property damage.  

If you own the bottle warmer, you should unplug it and contact the manufacturer Mayborn for a free replacement.

The bottle warmer was sold at Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Buy Buy Baby, Amazon and more.
