TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A driver was killed and two others airlifted after a weekend crash in Tuscola County.

It happened on Sunday, June 26 at 4:25 p.m. near the intersection of Bradford and Darbee Road in Denmark Township.

Investigators said a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old female from Bay City was headed westbound on Darbee Road when it failed to stop at the intersection and struck another vehicle heading northbound on Bradford Road.

Both vehicles then overturned into a large ditch.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 41-year-old female from Fairgrove, was found dead at the scene, police said. The woman's 18-year-old daughter was a passenger in the vehicle.

The 18-year-old and the 52-year-old driver were airlifted to a Saginaw hospital.

The names of those involved in the crash have not been released.

The accident is under investigation.
