MT. MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A 17-year-old is dead after a shooting at a car wash in Genesee County.

It happened about 9:30 a.m. on June 27 at Mattis Auto Wash on Pierson Road, just west of Linden Road in Mt. Morris Township.

TV5’s Ronnie Duncan spoke with a man who claimed to be the father of the victim. The man said his 17-year-old son, Alerio Wilson, was shot and killed after an argument at the car wash.

The argument apparently started at an apartment complex a short distance away and then continued at the car wash.

Wilson would have been 18-years-old later this month, the father said.

Police said two suspects, one man and one woman, have been arrested in the shooting. The man is suspected of pulling the trigger.
