FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

There appears to be a rift between Governor Snyder and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette over Flint's water crisis.

According to the Detroit News, Schuette says Governor Snyder's private lawyers are holding back documents from his investigators.

A spokesperson for the governor has denied the claim, pointing to the thousands of pages of records that have been overturned.

Schuette's team revealed last week that then-unnamed agencies were not cooperating with their investigation into the water crisis.

His office has not ruled out taking legal action.
