CATT Squad makes multiple arrests, seizes guns, drugs off streets

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Reports of a large brawl landed several people in jail as well as weapons and drugs seized. 

Officers were called out to the 1200 block of Huron Street on Monday, June 27 around 9 p.m. for reports of a large fight.

The CATT Squad put an end to the disorder and arrested four people.

The respective charges included felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon, possession with intent to distribute synthetic narcotics, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine and probation violation.

Shortly after, CATT Squad officers were in the area of the 2500 block of Dakota investigating complaints of ongoing drug activity when they saw a person standing near a suspected drug house.

When the officers tried to approach, the suspect took off running.

The person was caught on the next block over and police said they found a stolen handgun.

The suspect was arrested on several felony charges.
