FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A Mid-Michigan city has been named one of those worst cities to live in America.

A 24/7 Wall St. report ranks Flint as the 8th worst city in the United States to live in.

The analysis reviewed data from the 550 U.S. cities with populations of 65,000 or more and looked at crime rates, employment growth, access to restaurants and attractions, educational attainment and housing affordability.

Here are the Top 10 worst cities to live in, according to the report:

  1. Miami, Florida
  2. Detroit, Michigan
  3. Paterson, New Jersey
  4. Hawthorne, California 
  5. Fall River, Massachusetts
  6. Birmingham, Alabama
  7. Memphis, Tennessee
  8. Flint, Michigan
  9. Cleveland, Ohio
  10. Gary, Indiana

Residents of the worst cities to live in had lower incomes and higher poverty rates.
