Snyder, Schuette meet over claims of withholding information in water crisis

Posted: Updated:
FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Michigan’s governor and attorney general met with their legal teams over Flint’s water crisis.

This after State Attorney General Bill Schuette’s office accused Governor Rick Snyder’s lawyers of holding back information.

According to the Detroit News, Schuette and Snyder met Thursday to clear the air. Schuette called it a “cordial meeting” and said he was hopeful for a positive outcome.

Schuette launched a probe into the water crisis earlier this year to determine if anyone should be held responsible for it.

Earlier this week, he said the governor’s private lawyers were not providing requested documents. The governor’s office denied those claims.
