U. of Michigan gets $7.5M for environmental health research

ANN ARBOR, MI (AP) -

The University of Michigan School of Public Health is getting $7.5 million to advance research on the effects of environmental exposures on health.

The Ann Arbor schools on Friday announced a renewal of a grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. The grant seeks to improve public health and continues the work of the Michigan Lifestage Environmental Exposures and Disease Center.

The grant includes funds for research and facilities, pilot projects, community engagement, career development and research engagement.
