PINCONNING, MI (WNEM) -

There have been six vehicles reported stolen over the last few weeks in Pinconning.

Most of the vehicles have been recovered, but had damage done to them, according to the Pinconning Police Department.

Police have made an arrest in the case, but the thefts have continued.

Most of the vehicles have been stolen outside of the city limits.

"It should be noted that all vehicles stolen had keys in the vehicles, sometimes in hidden areas but some in the ignition of the vehicle," the police department said.

Other unlocked vehicles have also been searched for valuables, police said.

Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles and not keep keys inside of them.

If you have any information regarding the crimes call Sgt. Terry Spencer at 989-879-4270.
