A house fire claimed a woman's life on Saturday.
The Bay City Department of Public Safety responded to the blaze about 2:30 p.m. on the 500 block of S. Sherman Street.
Kirsten Depattey, 47, was found toward the rear of the home.
She was taken to McLaren Bay Region hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
