SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

If you favor being frightened it's never too early to look forward to a hauntingly good Halloween.

"We will have zombies. The theme this year is going to be a funeral home. There will be a funeral going on," said Jeff Necomee, with Night Stalkers Haunted House.

He said you can expect some intense thrills and chills this fall in downtown Saginaw. Newcomee is converting two floors of a 60,000 square foot building into a house of horrors.

"All together, over 25 different rooms and themes. You will see pretty much everything in here, werewolves, the whole thing," he said.

Newcomee said construction is underway and they are working hard on the new haunted house.

Tickets will be $15 and Newcomee said it will open by Sept. 23.

Newcomee said there will be job openings and a casting call for local volunteer actors. In the future they will also be opening a zombie laser tag game that will be open year round.

"The zombie attraction will be kinda like a haunted house. You go through a maze, but as you go through the maze actual zombies will be coming out of the woodwork and try to attack you," Newcomee said.

Even though he said they have their work cut out for them, they are really happy to bring some more Halloween spirit to downtown Saginaw.

"We are super excited to see the reaction on their faces when people see the cemetery and walk through the door and see this huge graveyard. And then they see the haunted house. People will be scared from the moment they see the ticket booth," Newcomee said.
