GENESEE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

More than 3,000 people were without power for several hours Wednesday in the Davison area.

The main outages were in the area of E. Bristol Road north to E. Rising Street and Mackinaw Drive east to Locust Drive.

There were more than 3,600 people without power in that area, according to Consumers Energy.

The outages were due to a transformer that blew at Salvation Army.

Power was restored around 3:45 a.m.
