SANILAC COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Police are searching for two men they say smashed the windows of an electrical worker’s truck with a crow bar.

Deputies with the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department were called around 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 14 to the area of Richmondville Road and Goetze Road in Forester Township.

The DTE Energy contractor told police he was sitting on the side of the road in his marked work vehicle when two men got out of their black Ford F-150 and smashed out his windows with a crow bar.

The suspects made “derogatory comments” to the contractor and then left.

The worker said the suspect’s truck had a confederate flag hanging on a pole from the back of the vehicle. Police did not give a description of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Ron DuBois at 810-648-5641 or dispatch at 810-648-2000.
