A female high school student was allegedly approached by two men in a truck near a Mid-Michigan high school.

It happened near Grand Blanc High School.

The student was approached at the corner of Saginaw Street and Holly Road, according to reports. The men were in a maroon pick-up truck.

The men asked the student if she wanted a ride and the student ignored them and returned to the school, according to reports.

The student then told the school security officers what happened and they reported the incident to administration and local law enforcement.

The same vehicle was spotted near the high school on July 15 during the summer school lunch break, the school said.

Law enforcement officers were at the scene, but unable to get a license plate number.

The school is encouraging students to bring their own lunch for the remainder of the summer school program. If students want to walk somewhere for lunch they will be escorted by the security staff.

If your child is approached by a stranger they are encouraged to call 911 immediately.
