Machine catches fire at farm

KINGSTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A machine caught on fire at a Mid-Michigan farm at around 8:51 a.m. on July 18.

It happened at a farm off of M-46 in Dayton Township. That's in Tuscola County.

The fire started in a machine that dries wheat, according to Kingston Fire Chief Jeff Mallory.

About 6,000 bushels of grain was destroyed, along with heavy damage to the machine.

No one was hurt.
