The parent of a missing Mid-Michigan woman tells TV5 that she has been found.

Frankie Salazar contacted TV5 Tuesday morning saying her 32-year-old daughter Marisa had been located, but it's unclear where.

Marisa was reported missing after she was last seen by relatives on Thursday, July 14 around 5 p.m. after she got into a fight with her 17-year-old cousin near 23rd and Baldwin.

Police said Marisa was seen a block away talking with a woman in a blue Dodge Durango who stopped to check on her because she was crying. Salazar said she raced over to Marisa's home and was inside when the woman first brought her daughter back to the house.

Salazar said she went outside to talk to her daughter when the woman offered to take Marisa to the hospital.

"She said 'I will take her to the hospital.' Dummy me, I shouldn't have let her go," Salazar said.

That's the last time the mother said she saw her daughter, who had open heart surgery last year, struggles with mental issues and takes medication. Marisa left without her heart medication, shoes, purse and cell phone.

"She wouldn't have been gone this long without calling or going back for more belongings," Salazar said.

Marisa asked to go in the house to get her belongings, Salazar said, but before she could do that the woman driver took off. Salazar said she has never seen the driver or vehicle before.

Marisa's current condition is unclear.
