Deputies: Alcohol believed to be factor in critical crash

TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man was critically hurt after losing control of his vehicle, going off the road and hitting some trees.

It happened on August 2 at 11:30 p.m. on Cemetery Road near River Road in Tuscola County’s Novesta Township.

Deputies report that a 22-year-old man from Snover hit the guardrails over the Cass River Bridge before going into the ditch and hitting the trees.

He was transferred to a Saginaw hospital with critical injuries.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
