SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

A popular part of a Mid-Michigan city is scheduled for some major changes, and the public's input is sought.

Saginaw's North Hamilton street enhancement project will go forward, but only after the community has their say. An open meeting on the plan starts at 4 p.m. today in Council Chambers at City Hall, 1315 South Washington Avenue. The meeting lasts until 5:30 p.m.

City staff, engineers and designers will be on hand to answer questions. North Hamilton, located in what's better known as Saginaw's 'Old Town' is home to a growing number of restaurants, bars and other businesses and popular events such as the summertime 'Lawn Chair Film Festival' and many others.
