SANILAC COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Police have located the second stolen ATV taken from the Lexington area over the July 29th weekend.

Deputies were called to the 4000 block of S. Lakeshore Road on July, 29 around 7:15 a.m. for reports of a stolen 2015 Yamaha Viking.

The V1 XL Side-by-side is silver and black in color. It was stolen along with a large amount of construction tools.

The ATV was found several days later at an abandoned home in the area of Kelly and Normal Roads in St. Clair County’s Lynn Township.

If you saw the ATV over the past weekend, police ask you call Deputy Todd Laming at 810-648-2000 or the Detective Bureau at 810-648-8360.

In the second case, deputies were called to the 4000 block of Babcock Road.

The owner reported suspects pried open the door and stole a yellow 2008 Can Am Renegade 4-wheeler with extreme knobby tires and XD rims.

The ATV was located at a vacant home in the 6000 block of Kelly Road near Capac.

"I would like to thank the public for their help in keeping watch for the stolen ATV's and for the information that we received, along with the valuable assistance of the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office in locating our ATV's," Sheriff Biniecki said.

Police are continuing to following up on any additional leads as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to call Deputy Rob Wendling at 810-648-2000.
