FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Keep an eye out for a short, chubby rodent because he's wanted by police.

The University of Michigan-Flint Department of Public Safety issued an arrest warrant Friday for none other than  the popular Pikachu.

"Please consider Mr. Pikachu elusive. Mr. Pikachu is wanted in connection with causing many of us to lose focus on other important life activities and needed sleep," the department posted on Facebook

Police said if you see the fuzzy yellow Pokemon, do not approach.

"If you know the location of Mr. Pikachu, do not approach, call us immediately so that DPS Team Mystic can win...oops, we mean apprehend, Mr. Pikachu," the department said.

An eye-witness spotted the wanted character near the Mott Building in downtown Flint, police said.
