Infant rescued from hot car

JACKSON, MI (WNEM) -

An infant was rescued from a hot vehicle Tuesday after police say she was left unattended.

Officers were called to the 200 block of S. Mechanic Street in Jackson, Michigan for reports of a 7-month-old left inside closed vehicle.

Police believe the baby was left in the vehicle for 10-15 minutes.

The child was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and protective services were called.
