BAD AXE, MI (WNEM) -

Residents are scrambling after more than two dozen homes and vehicles were egged in a Mid-Michigan city.

Authorities received approximately 25 complaints of eggs being thrown at vehicles and houses in the Bad Axe area.

The incidents took place on Tuesday, August 9 from about 11 p.m. until Wednesday, August 10 around 5 a.m. Sporadic incidents have taken place over the prior 10 days as well, police said.

The BAPD is following up on several leads and reviewing several home security videos, but they hope those responsible will turn themselves in and cooperate with the investigation.
