Man dies after hit-and-run crash in Flint

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A man has died after a hit-and-run crash in the city of Flint. 

It happened about 1:41 a.m. near W. Home Avenue and Oxley Drive.

Investigators said 39-year-old Chad Edward Walker of Flint was driving eastbound on W. Home Avenue when he disregarded a stop sign while making a left turn onto Oxley Drive and then struck an unknown vehicle. 

Walker was taken to Hurley Medical Center. He died from his injuries on Friday, Aug. 26. 

Police said the unknown vehicle fled the scene and has not been found.
